Hey there both (if you two anonymous are different people) This is a really good idea I'd never considered, as I use grid diary for a different purpose. But I do log a mood everyday and can see exactly what you mean. My suggestion is simply that Kevin gives us a greater vocabulary of emotion — as others have suggested, for their own reasons—with the weather. Or, as you say, a Scale. What do you think?

Sorry, I meant to conclude, that once you insert a unique character, of course you can search for it. Hope that helps

I love the bookmark for the DAY. But I also see the value of bookmarking a particular question/ grid block. As a journal it would be great to see what was the mark of the day. For now, until Kevin responds, how about inserting a special character right at the beginning of your writing, that indicates this block is special? For example • or * or %. You know what I mean. Cheers.

Perhaps I am missing the point. But you CAN save many templates and choose them for any day in the future, Or even the past, if you save your content and repaste it. Like any beautifully simple but amazingly flexible app, you just need to explore, rather than have it plopped on your plate. Different templates for Morning and afternoon? Love the idea. For now, Simply name and sequence your element of the grid accordingly, save as a template, then use.
Please comment again, and If I can help, I will. From Rick, a daily, avid user and massive fan.
